QuayWest Recruitment provides skilled and competent relief personnel like registered nurses and support workers to healthcare facilities nationwide. We have over 30 trained staff available for short-term, temporary, weekly, hourly, or per diem assignments. Our team of administrative, accounting, and quality assurance staff provide seamless back-office services, while the Operations and HR Managers oversee frontline and support services with the help of Key Workers. We simplify your recruitment tasks by finding high caliber candidates and presenting them to you for selection. Our Staff

We have a robust recruitment and selection policy & procedures in place. Not only does this policy ensure that we have enough staff cover to run an effective service but guarantees that we have appropriately and suitably qualified staff with relevant experience who are competently matched to roles to ensure that the services we provide are safe, caring, responsive and well-led. The policy provides for water-tight screening to ensure that all our staff have enhanced DBS checks, verified qualifications and reliable/suitable references before they are deployed to work with vulnerable young people.

Screening and Orientation...

For security reasons and excellence in services the following are required prior to employment:

  • At least 2 professional references
  • A completed application form
  • Skills checklist
  • An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check

Training and Development

QuayWest Housing supports Staff Induction, Training and Development Policy with dedicated budget. Staff responsible for CPD. All staff go through induction before working with young people covering management, organisation, communication, conduct, confidentiality, and roles. Mandatory training includes Safeguarding, First Aid, Infection Control, Fire Safety, COSHH, Equality & Diversity, Epilepsy, Challenging Behaviour, and Health & Safety. Staff complete Care Certificate training within four months of probationary period. Training and development, including refresher courses, available to all staff as part of HR career development strategy.
