All staff go through induction before working with young people covering management, organisation, communication, conduct, confidentiality, and roles. Mandatory training includes Safeguarding, First Aid, Infection Control, Fire Safety, COSHH, Equality & Diversity, Epilepsy, Challenging Behaviour, and Health & Safety. Staff complete Care Certificate training within four months of probationary period. Training and development, including refresher courses, available to all staff as part of HR career development strategy.
